Self-quarantine immediately and test for COVID-19

Your self-quarantine overview:

Last contact

dag 0

dag 8

Self-quarantine immediately and avoid contact with others.

This means do not go outside, do not go to the store and do not go to work.

Get tested for coronavirus as soon as possible. Make an appointment online or call 0800‑1202. Have your citizen service number (BSN) ready when you call

If the test comes back negative, you no longer have to self‑quarantine. But continue to avoid contact with anyone who may be vulnerable for a full 10 days after your last contact with someone with coronavirus.

If the test comes back positive, you have coronavirus. The GGD will provide you with additional information and you need to self‑isolate (information in Dutch).

dag 10

If you have no symptoms, this is your last day of your self‑quarantine.

If you have COVID‑19 symptoms, stay home and get tested again. Or do a self-test.

Is the self-test result positive? Get yourself tested as soon as possible at the GGD.

Please note: Any special instructions you may have received from the municipal health service (GGD) always take precedence over the advice given here.
