Self-quarantine immediately and test for COVID-19

Start part one of your self‑quarantine immediately and avoid physical contact with others.

This means do not go outside, do not go to the store and do not go to work.

Get tested for coronavirus as soon as possible. Make an appointment online or call 0800‑1202. Have your citizen service number (BSN) ready when you call. Or do a self-test.

Today part two of your self‑quarantine begins: continue to stay at home for 10 days, or 5 days if you test negative on day 5.

5 days after the start of part two

Get yourself tested for COVID-19 today:
Make an appointment online or call 0800‑1202. Have your citizen service number (BSN) ready when you call. Or do a self-test.

Is the self-test result positive? Get yourself tested as soon as possible at the GGD.

Is the GGD test result positive? Then you’re infected with COVID-19. The GGD tells you more and you have to go in self isolation.

If the test result is negative, you no longer have to self‑quarantine. But continue to avoid contact with anyone who may be vulnerable for a full 10 days after the last contact with the person you live with.

10 days after the start of part two (end)

If you did not get tested on or after day 5 and you have no symptoms, then you can now also end your home quarantine.

If you have COVID‑19 symptoms, stay home and get tested again. Or do a self-test.

Please note: Any special instructions you may have received from the municipal health service (GGD) always take precedence over the advice given here.
